Upper/Lower Receiver 1 Upper/Lower Receiver

Typically these are billet and made for Glock magazines. Typical magazines used for these glock mag lowers are Glock 26 mag (10 Round), Glock 19 mag (15 Round), Glock 17 mag (17 Round), and the Glock 18 Mag (33 Round).

Like the lower, we typically use a billet upper receiver made by New Frontier Armory. This matches well with our lower and something to keep in mind is the LRBHO or Last Round Bolt Hold Open is in the upper on this unit so they pair well with the Breacher’s lower. Other options would include the SLR Upper to Match the SLR Lower Receiver you might have picked or the Aero Upper Receiver to Match the Aero Lower you might have picked. Hand Guard 2 Hand Guard

Handguards come down to look and function. If you want to tuck a linear comp, then on a 9mm set up, pick a hand guard that is either Barrel Length or ¾” of an Inch longer than the barrel. The longer hand guard will tuck the linear comp and leave very little exposed. Typically you’d have approx. ¼” of Comp exposed if using the SLR Linear Comp which you typically see in the pics of what we build. Again, Suppressors, you will go 1” shorter than barrel length. We STRONGLY suggest a 5.25” Barrel in suppressed systems but 3” and 4” wouldn’t be an issue.

Now were starting to have fun. Possibilities are endless really. The shortest we have manufactured right now is a 2.5” Barrel with our custom feed ramp and all black nitride coated. Thread pitch is typically ½’x28 for the 9mm set ups. Custom length barrels can be requested. If you want us to pick, please pick that option and we can discuss the look you are after. Suppressed builds, please allow a 1” longer barrel than the hand guard. The I.D. on our hand guards is 1.32” and unless you’re using a Dead Air Odessa 9, most suppressors will not fit under the hand guard. This will be noted in the Hand Guard section as well.

Typically we like to use the SLR Linear comp. This is what is used in most of the builds in our gallery. We will soon have our own BCG Linear comps as well, which will be the same as the SLR’s, made by SLR for us. Depending on barrel length and hand guard length, you may need to pick a Noveske KX5 Pig Flash Hider which is longer than the SLR. If you’d rather have a brake or A2 style flash hider, by all means pick that option. Just keep in mind the hand guard length when doing so. You can’t tuck a brake or flash hider and it will have detrimental damage to the hand guard and lets not forget about your hand.

Trigger 7 Trigger

We’ve tried a lot of them and tested most of them thoroughly. The Timney PCC Trigger (Flat Trigger Shoe) is a great one that has a hood over the disconnector to protect it from damage. Geissele is a great option as well and we’ve used these triggers for quite awhile before switching to the Timney. Timney PCC Single Stage or 2 stage trigger has our vote as the best so far. Geissele SD-E (Flat Trigger Shoe), Geissele SSA or SSA-E is also a great option. For a cheaper option, the ALG Combat Trigger or ALG MilSpec trigger is good too. In blow back guns, these can be problematic though which is why we suggest the Timney if the budget is there for it. All our triggers will use KNS Pins on installation. Especially on the Cassette style trigger like the Timney. Keep the trigger pins lubed and you shouldn’t have to worry. I’ve ran 5-6k rounds thru our AR9 and pulled apart for inspection. NO measurable wear was noted on the receiver or KNS Pins.

We like to offer “Enhanced TD Pins” for ease of take down. The typical Mil-Spec pin is typically flush with the receiver, either requiring a sharp finger or a tool to help pull the pins on take down. The Battle Arms Pins are knurled and dimpled for more grip. The CMMG Pins are just longer than usual. Both are Great Options.

Ambi Safety 10 Ambi Safety

We typically build with Ambidextrous Safety Selectors for a couple reasons. 1. You’re a lefty. 2. You have the option to use as a lefty in the worst case scenario. 3. Utilizing your index finger to put the weapon back on safe, i.e. Thumb on safety to put on fire, Index Finger to put on safe. Options for safety selectors are Battle Arms Development Ambi Safety Selector in Black or FDE. Titanium is an option too. The Radian Talon is an option as well in Black, Blue or Red. Seekins in either Black, Red, or FDE is the color choices here. Can’t go wrong with any of them really.

Whether its an AR15 Lower/Upper or our PCC AR9 Lower/Upper, an extended mag release is a great option for functionality. The New Frontier Ext Mag Release will be used on our Glock Mag Lowers and the Battle Arms Development Ext Mag release will be used on SLR/Aero Lower Options. You could also choose the Enhanced Mag Catch and Enhanced non extended Button too. Of course, no extension is always possible as well.

Our options include the Seekins large paddle Bolt Catch or the Battle Arms Development Model. The LRBHO or Last Round Bolt Hold Open will need modified if choosing the Battle Arms version and using the New Frontier PCC Upper. No cost change, just something to keep in mind. We don’t recommend stock mil spec bolt catch’s as those seem to be problematic with breaking, leaving you stranded at times.

Welcome to designing your very own AR9, filled with whatever we offer for our builds and this will be designed by you. You can still reach out to us for help though if needed. Please keep in mind “Builders Notes”. If there are notes listed on the parts page, then you need to read this to make sure parts are compatible with one another. These are things I’ve learned over the years and I want to help you build the gun of your dreams. So pick your parts for your build and feel free to contact us with questions.

Build and Test to include Savior Equipment bag appropriate to firearm size, a sample packet of Slip2000 lube/grease/cleaner, and Magpul or OEM mag for Glock mag set up. Also included is a swag pack of Stickers, Brochure, and Morale Patch.
